Mysterious Ways

The Pope is dead, and they want to make him a saint.

In order to do that, though, the Dead Pope needs to rack up some posthumous miracles. Two, to be exact.

It’s up to you to tell the story of the Dead Pope’s miracles. You’ll relate the tale of the petitioner, praying for the Pope’s intercession, and you’ll tell us what the petitioner recieved. The New Pope will hear your stories and decide whether the miracle is genuine.

Unfortunately, prayers are often answered in mysterious ways, and the Dead Pope was known, even in life, as an eccentric. It may not always be immediately apparent what makes a miracle a miracle, or how it has saved the petitioner’s life. 

It’s up to you and 3-9 friends to make the connection.

I came back to this project for the Bring Out Your Ghosts Jam, and realized it was also eligible for Continue Your Game: The Jam,  which has the fun wrinkle of a requirement that you publish the page for your game and post development logs. While I wrestle with the mechanics, here, I'll keep you all clued in to how that's going.
